IBPS PO Exam Pattern — 3 Stages
1Prelims — First Filter
Online objective test — 100 marks, 60 minutes. 3 sections: English Language (30Q), Quantitative Aptitude (35Q), Reasoning Ability (35Q). Sectional cutoff bhi hota hai — sirf total cutoff nahi. Negative marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer.
2Mains — Main Battle
200 marks objective + 25 marks descriptive. 4 objective sections: Reasoning & Computer Aptitude (45Q, 60 min), English Language (35Q, 40 min), Data Analysis & Interpretation (35Q, 45 min), General Economy & Banking Awareness (40Q, 35 min). Plus Letter/Essay writing (2 questions, 30 min). Total: 3 hours 30 minutes.
3Interview — Final Round
100 marks interview. Mains score (80%) + Interview (20%) = Final merit list. Interview mein: banking knowledge, current affairs, personality, communication skills check hoti hai. Dress professionally, speak confidently.
